MC PLAN & SITE SERVICES APPOINT ASSISTANT BUILDING SURVEYOR

MC Plan & Site Services, the award-winning firm of Independent Building Inspectors in the South, is excited to welcome a new member of staff.

Ben Oxland, has joined the team as an Assistant Building Surveyor and will work closely with Jamie Edwards who has been with the firm for many years.

Originally training as a carpenter at Poole Technical College, he then went on to complete his NVQ Level 7 Diploma in Construction Senior Management.

Previously working within the industry for various high end development and construction companies over the past 15 years, he has an extraordinary understanding of the practicalities of all building aspects.

Mark Cook, MD of MC Plan & Site Services said: “We are delighted to welcome Ben to the team. He is a highly motivated and experienced construction manager with extensive carpentry skills. He brings with him bags of experience which will assist in carrying out the building control process and providing practical solutions to our clients.”

“At MC Plan we truly believe that by in investing in our staff and personal progression we will have the best staff to carry out the work, so we’re delighted to support Ben who clearly has ambitions in self development” he added.

Ben is continuing to progress his career by studying towards an NVQ level 6 in building control, working towards his CABE membership and is at the professional review stage for CIOB membership.

In his spare time, Ben enjoys coaching at Merley Cobham Sports YFC and is a FA level 1 licensed coach.
